About the Managing Director - Dion Devow

We are honoured to draw inspiration from the leadership and work of Dion Devow, a respected First Nations entrepreneur, cultural advisor, and community leader.

• Dion is of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent, with roots in the Manbarra and Palm Island Group (Queensland), and Darnley Island in the Torres Strait. 

• He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Health Education from the University of Canberra. 

• Dion has more than 20 years’ experience working in Indigenous health, education, justice, and business, often acting as a bridge between First Nations communities and broader government / corporate structures. 

• Awards & Recognition: 2018 ACT Australian of the Year, 2016 ACT NAIDOC Person of the Year, 2014 ACT NAIDOC Business Person of the Year, ACT / Naidoc Organisation of the Year 2015  .
